Here I have used a skyline and highlighted what I thought were main parts of the text to make them more outstanding, linking the highlighted colour I used yellows around the page to make it an effective color scheme. I used a splash to put information in about a 'free CD' and to go along with the genre of the magazine I used psychedellic font style. My headline is highlighted, and the artists name features on the front cover is clearly shown. The barcode is in an apropriate place, as are the other headlines.
Here is my first and my favorite draft of my magazine. My font style is very vintage rock & roll, I took inspiration from 'Rolling stone' magazine. The thumbnail is on an angle and is in a frame with a caption & page number like most magazines like this. I have used a skyline and highlighted main stories
I have used a splash with a charecachode of a face which looks like an old rockstar or something, this may be part of the magazines 'mascot' in the logo, as is the letter 'A' in 'Amplify'.
